This 2003
BMW 540i was traveling on the Saw Mill River Parkway n.b. just
past Ashford Ave in Dobbs Ferry. 1 car MVA, left the road at a
high rate of speed on July 30, went airborne 15 ft in the air
and about 70 ft though the woods hitting a tree and going
though a pole landing on two busses at the adjacent Ardsley
Bus Depot on Elm St. and then coming to a rest between two
busses. The Dobbs Ferry Fire Dept. responded along with the
Dobbs Ferry First Aid Squad on arrival of the first
units. Heavy entrapment was called. upon arrival of ALS
the victim was pronounced DOA at the scene
Two Bensalem High School seniors were killed and a third was
critically injured early yesterday in a one-car accident along the
1400 block of Gibson Road in Bensalem.
Driver Ryan Stout, 17, and rear-seat passenger Andrew Weiss,
also 17, died on impact, township police said.
Front-seat passenger Michael Misenko,
17, was taken by ambulance to Frankford Hospital-Torresdale
Campus, where he was being treated last night for serious
injuries, police said.
The car, a 2003 Mercury Sable, hit a
tree while headed east at high speed about 5 a.m., police said.
The collision split the vehicle in two, throwing Stout and Weiss
from the car. Misenko, wearing a seat belt, remained in the front
half of the car, which then hit a second tree. He was freed from
the car by volunteers from three fire and ambulance companies that
responded to the accident.
