The West End Fire & Rescue Company will sponsor its 12th
annual Child's Dream Weekend. This program enables 20 area children from
the ages of 11 to 13, to experience firefighting first hand. Each
participant will be issued safety equipment, uniforms and an accountability
tag. They will learn first hand how to use firefighting and rescue
equipment, much of the weekend is hands on exercises. At the end of the
weekend, awards will be given out to everyone. This is an excellent
opportunity for many children in our community to experience what it is like to
be a firefighter or officer in a local fire company. Registration forms

The Newtown Fire Assoc., is celebrating our 120th Anniversary and will be hosting the
89th annual Bucks County Fireman's parade. Start time 1 pm. Parade will end at the
Newtown Industrial Commons and will be followed by a presentation of trophies.

The Espy Fire Company would like to extend an invitation to
attend our Fireman’s parade. The parade will form at 5 pm at the Old Scott School location on Worman St., and is scheduled to move at 6:30 pm. The waterball competition will follow the parade for anyone who is interested;
teams need at least 3 but no more than 5 people. The carnival runs from June
16th thru the 20th with nightly entertainment, and a chicken barbecue on the 20th.

The Pennsylvania Pump Primers will hold their 34th
annual Antique Fire Apparatus Show and Muster from 10 AM to 4 PM in Riverfront Park, across from Harrisburg Hospital. Admission is free. The site offers
excellent access to the Susquehanna River for riverside mass pumping, as well
as a shady park setting for show apparatus and a flea market. It has been
called one of the best muster locations in the country and is capable of
staging over 100 rigs along the river for mass pumping, with room for more than
50 on static display.

July 16 2009 - East Berlin, Pennsylvania Liberty Fire Company #1, East Berlin, annual Firefighters Parade held in conjunction
with our annual Fireman's Carnival. The parade will form at the East Berlin Community Center
on North Avenue at 17:30 hours. The parade will move at 19:00 hours and proceed down North
Avenue to Route 234. The parade will travel East on 234 to the East Berlin square and turn
South on Route 194 past the fire station. The parade will end at the intersection of Route
194 and Walnut Street. Parade prizes will be announced by approximately 21:00 hours on the
carnival grounds. Only one prize will be permitted per department. Judges decisions are final
and there will be no alcohol allowed.
Beaverdale Fire Company will have their annual parade at 1pm. Registration begins at 11 am.. Plus we will be having our bucket water battle &
